About the Event
What will downtown San Jose look like in 20 years? How will Google and other big developments change our urban landscape? How will people move around and afford to live here? Come to our monthly meeting to hear directly from three people who are shaping the future of San Jose's downtown area.
Panelists:
1) Gary Dillabough is the Founder of Urban Community, which has purchased 21 parcels in downtown and has big plans for re-imagining the heart of our city.
2) Teresa Alvarado is the San Jose Director of SPUR, which is a local urban planning research organization that advocates for good planning and governance policies.
3) Josh Burroughs is COO and SVP of Development for Urban Catalyst, a new real estate development fund that will provide financing for many of the new projects started in downtown over the coming years.
