Bay Area Air District's Case for restrictions on selling natural gas appliances
At the March 9 meeting of AVCA, staff of the Bay Area Air District explained why they are promoting their ban on the sale of natural gas appliances. The presentation explains the rule changes enacted in 2023 and covers the highlights of the Concepts Paper that proposes modifications to the rules. The Case Against BAAD's Natural Gas Regulations
After the February 9 public meeting of AVCA, we got requests for access to the PowerPoint slides used during the presentation. Starting on January 1 2027, the Bay Area Air District will restrict the sale and installation of various natural gas appliances.
